Our Story

Maverick Industries is home to one of the largest steam-chest molding facilities in North America and is one of the few facilities capable of molding expanded polypropylene (EPP). EPP foam has unique characteristics which make it unlike styrofoam and better than injection molded plastic. EPP is highly resilient foam—it is used in automotive bumpers! What makes EPP so special is that while it is very sturdy, it is also extremely lightweight —this combination makes EPP a perfect material for use in packaging and shipping.

Traditional material handling totes and shipping boxes are not only heavy and awkward; they are expensive to ship and ergonomically unfriendly. Our EPP packaging provides protection from impact and temperature changes, so your contents stay safe and damage-free. Plus, Maverick provides packaging materials that are 100% recyclable which means you can meet your targets for zero Landfill and reduced carbon footprint.
